The show was a celebration of life and all the mess we have to get through to make one for ourselves. I’m so grateful to have someone like Patterson writing songs about what he’s been through and what it all means to him. I had the honor of joining a group of white men convened by @chris4liberation @garrett.neiman and Otis P at the Highlander Center. It was an incredible experience full of sharing our work and strategizing about how to bring more white men into movement for social justice. Ten years since we said I do. We’ve had ups and downs and I can’t imagine it with anyone else.
